Comprehensive hands-on training for new users of Collaborative Business Planning (CBP)

Collaborative Business Planning (CBP) is a powerful adjunct to the QualiWare Business Process Management / Enterprise Architecture platform and available as a managed service on the Azure Cloud. CBP business models enable stakeholders across the organization to develop, analyze and deploy CBP results for improved decision-making.

This training is delivered over 4 half-day sessions. It is offered to new users of CBP assigned the responsibility of building, validating, and generating results from CBP models. A step-by-step learning approach is used so that participants can follow along with the instructor. Access to CBP through the Cloud is provided for each participant. Participants come away with “ready to apply” tips, techniques, and templates to enhance their experience as DTO Modellers.

    Key Learning Objectives

    • Learn the architectural structure of CBP within the QualiWare platform
    • Understand the detailed concepts of BPAC diagrams using the building blocks of CBP
    • Explore various data entry templates, results display options, and how to validate models
    • Learn how to automate data entry and results integration
    • Develop CBP reports and export CBP results to Excel or BI tools for further analytics

    Who Should Attend and Why?

This workshop provides foundational training on developing CBP business models to help organizations collaborate to improve organizational performance. It will benefit:

    • Technical Analysts designated to be the key DTO Modellers in their organizations
    • Business Analysts who will act as conduits between the DTO Modellers and the business users of CBP information
    • Internal or External Consultants interested in learning the fundamentals of CBP on behalf of their organizations or clients

Existing experience with Excel; process diagramming tools (such as PowerPoint or Visio); and/or data visualization tools (such as Power BI) would be highly beneficial. Existing experience with QualiWare would be useful but is not essential.
